Hello derby fans!
We’ve got our tournament, K-Town Shakedown, coming up April 27-28, when we’ll be bringing you two and a half days of derby featuring leagues from around the United States, Canada, and the UK. In addition to the talented skaters, announcers, referees, and non-skating officials we’ve already got lined up, we can’t put on an event like this without amazing volunteers like you!
We need volunteers to help with track crew, checking in skaters, officials, and volunteers, security, and working merch tables. We are also looking for volunteers with any of the following training for safety staff: Certified First Responders (CFRs), Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), or paramedics, physicians with sports medicine, orthopedic, and/or emergency medical experience, athletic trainers with CPR training, licensed practical or registered nurses with current CPR training and sports medicine, orthopedic, and/or emergency experience, or nurse practitioners or physician’s assistants with current CPR and sports medicine, orthopedic, and/or emergency experience.
